At Sylva Control Systems Inc.  we recognize the complexities surrounding conflict minerals and acknowledge that some aspects of mineral extraction and trade are beyond our direct control. While we are committed to ethical mineral sourcing within our supply chain, we also understand the broader challenges associated with conflict minerals that extend beyond our immediate sphere of influence.

 

Sylva Control Systems Inc. does not directly purchase or process conflict minerals. Sylva Control Systems Inc. purchases finished components such as integrated circuits, transistors, resistors, capacitors, switches, wires, connectors, and other electronic and electrical components. Due to this fact it creates a challenge for us to guarantee that conflict minerals are not present in all our components. 

 

As a responsible corporate citizen, we are dedicated to addressing these challenges through due diligence, and transparency. While we cannot single-handedly solve the issue of conflict minerals, we are committed to playing our part in contributing to sustainable solutions.

 

Our approach includes:

Due Diligence: While we cannot directly control every aspect of mineral extraction and trade, we conduct thorough due diligence within our supply chain to mitigate the risk of sourcing conflict minerals and always attempt to use North American suppliers who share our commitment to ethical sourcing practices.

 

2. Transparency: We are transparent about the challenges we face in addressing conflict minerals beyond our direct control and communicate openly with our customers about our efforts, limitations, and progress in this area.
